Dr. Christopher Khoury has dedicated over two decades to improving academic programs and supporting students with disabilities. Since 2018, he has served as an educational diagnostician at the Prosper Independent School District, diagnosing students with disabilities and developing individualized academic plans. He has also served as a senior contributing faculty member at Walden University since 2013. Additionally, Dr. Khoury is the co-founder and president of NextGen United Champions Sports Foundation and the owner and chief executive officer of Endeavor Education LLC.

Dr. Khoury received a BS in sports management from North Carolina State University in 2004. He then attended the University of North Texas, achieving an MEd in special education in 2005 and a PhD in educational psychology in 2014. To commemorate his accomplishments, Dr. Khoury was named the Special Education Educator of the Year in his school district in 2021. He also received a Faculty Excellence Award from Walden University in 2022 while serving on several committees, ensuring equity, diversity and inclusivity for the university. Looking ahead, he is working on a book to inspire those who have been overlooked and help educators and parents better support all children.

FRISCO, TX, May 27, 2025, Christopher Khoury, PhD, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Dr. Khoury, a distinguished professional in special education, has dedicated over two decades to improving educational programs and supporting students with disabilities and their families. As an educational diagnostician at Prosper Independent School District in Prosper, Texas, since 2018, he has been instrumental in diagnosing students with disabilities, assisting with developing individualized educational plans, and ensuring the schools he serves are in 100% compliance with federal, state, and local laws and procedures. Dr. Khoury’s knowledge and expertise in special education has earned him recognition as a reliable resource for staff at the schools he serves, his colleagues, and families of students with special needs. In addition to his role within the school district, Dr. Khoury has contributed significantly to academia as a senior contributing faculty member at Walden University since 2013. Besides his work in education, Dr. Khoury is also the co-founder and president of NextGen United Champions Sports Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on providing opportunities for all youth to participate in sport.

Dr. Khoury's earlier career has been marked by a series of other impactful roles. Prior to his tenure at Walden University in 2013, Dr. Khoury served roles as an adjunct professor and teaching fellow at The University of North Texas, from 2005 to 2013. He began his career in public education as a special education teacher at Lake Dallas Independent School District in 2004 before teaching in the same capacity at Denton Independent School District from 2005 to 2011. He subsequently became an assessment specialist III at Fort Worth Independent School District between 2011 and 2012, an educational diagnostician at Anna Independent School District from 2012 to 2014, a campus testing coordinator at Lewisville Independent School District between 2014 and 2016, and an educational diagnostician at Frisco Independent School District until 2018.


Possessing a rich educational background, Dr. Khoury received a Bachelor of Science in sports management from North Carolina State University in 2004. He then attended the University of North Texas, where he received a Master of Education in special education and teaching in 2005 and a Doctor of Philosophy in special education in 2014. These degrees have been complemented by several certifications, such as principal and educational diagnostician from the Texas Education Agency. He also garnered certificates in Sports Marketing from Northwestern University in 2024, Sports and Society through Duke University in 2024, and The Science of Training Young Athletes through the University of Florida in 2025. Additionally, Dr. Khoury obtained an Introduction to Python designation through Coursera Project Network in 2024.



Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Khoury is actively involved in civic organizations. He is the co-founder and president of NextGen United Champions Sports Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to breaking down barriers by providing opportunities for all youth to participate in sport, including those who may not have the means or opportunities to participate, ensuring every young person can experience the camaraderie, skills, and life lessons inherent in sports. At Walden University, Dr. Khoury has served on several committees such as the Teacher Licensure Assessment Committee, the Associate Dean Advisory Council, and currently the Integrated Teaching and Learning Advisory Council. Moreover, Dr. Khoury has also been instrumental as the co-leader for the College of Education and Human Service’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee. He previously volunteered with the Phoenix Project, a non-profit organization created to help at-risk youth bridge gaps in academic knowledge after COVID-19.


Dr. Khoury’s success has earned him numerous accolades. In 2021, he was named the Prosper ISD Special Education Educator of the Year. He was also awarded the 2022 Walden University Faculty Excellence Award from The College of Education and Human Services due to his commitment and dedication to Walden University and its students. Additionally, he was an invitee to the University of North Texas Distinguished Alumni Achievement Awards Banquet in 2021, and he was nominated for a National Autism Association of North Texas Appreciation Award in 2022.


As he anticipates the future, Dr. Khoury is working on a book to help educators and parents better support all children, furthering his impact on education nationwide.
